High 5 4 Friday - MARCH!!!

So it is already March...how is that possible??  Crazy how fast time goes by.  March I always love because that's when Hailey's birthday is.  Birthdays are huge for me and I always like to make them big for Hailey too. 

So to start off the month right...here's my Favorite 5 things from this past week. 

1.  This past Sunday, my family got together for Hailey's birthday.  We all went to church together and then enjoyed lunch at Olive Garden to celebrate Hailey's 6th birthday.  Hailey received tickets to the CIRCUS from Grandma, Uncle Cody and Aunt Tracy.  She is SO excited!!!  She also received the leapad, after so much hunting and phone calls I finally tracked one down and may or may not have beat up a few other moms in the process to get one (just kidding!) but she has it and loves it and it's been played with daily since she's received it. 

2.  On Wednesday it was 70 degrees here, yes on Leap day in 2012 it was 70 degrees.  So after we got home Hailey hopped on her bike and I put the leash on Toby and we went for a walk.  The fresh air was perfect!  You could tell though that we were all out of shape.  Toby was breathing heavy after just a few blocks and I wasn't sure he was going to make it home ok, but man was he excited to be out on a walk!  And Hailey was a little rusty on the bike with getting started but she did great! 

3.  This week at school they celebrated Dr. Suess birthday all week and each day was a different crazy thing they had to do.  Hailey's "wackey Wednesday" outfit turned out not to be so wacky and was actually kind of cute.  Here's a picture of her at the end of the day, I forgot to take it in the morning like a bad mom.  Her hair was up in a bunch of pony tails...but if you know Hailey, her hair is always out at the end of the day no matter how much I may "threaten" her to leave it in.  *sigh*

4.  Just the fact that it is March now and that means, spring is hopefully around the corner and that we have a lot of fun things going on this month to celebrate Hailey. 

5.  I got to watch Luke this week for Tracy so she could go tan for a wedding she is in this weekend.  He had the flu and he was still a stinker and so cute.  But if we get sick...he may not be so cute for a few days...just giving you a heads up.  :o)  Probably not true..but whatever.  Here's a few pictures of him being "sick"...he's already faking.
